Headshots & Food + Nutrition Case Study
I've known Mel for a number of years and so when she told me about her new venture - Roots & Shoots Nutrition - I jumped at the opportunity to work with her!
The brief was pretty clear: Mel needed headshots for her blog and for commissions she was doing and then she needed some more 'in action' shots - Mel in the kitchen, working on what she taught!
We went about it in a similar way to most of my commissions - chat, listening deeply to the client and then head on to Pinterest to see what they have in their mind. A little feedback session and then we were away - a session in South West London in a physiotherapy studio she uses for consultations.
The session was nicely relaxed and we just chatted for the time we had together. Then as we were about to leave and I was packing up the studio lights, I noticed some sunlight hitting this beautiful brick wall outside. I asked Mel if she could spend ten more minutes with me and the results speak for themselves.
The shots you see above are the ones which Mel chose herself and you'll start to see on blogs and websites, hopefully making you think about how you fuel yourself!
WHAT DID MEL THINK?
Don't take my word for it...
This was an enjoyable session and Tim made me feel at ease very quickly. The time flew by and I'm very pleased we spent that extra 10 mins by the brick wall - they're my favourite shots from the whole shoot!
